6️⃣Step 6: Set Your Stop-Loss Percentage

Step 6: Set Your Stop-Loss Percentage

In this step, you'll enter the stop-loss percentage to help manage potential losses. The stop-loss percentage is the level at which the bot will automatically sell the token if its value drops by a certain amount, protecting you from significant losses in a volatile market.

How to Enter the Stop-Loss Percentage

  1. Choose a Stop-Loss Percentage

    • Enter the percentage loss you’re willing to tolerate for each trade. For example, if you enter 5, the bot will sell the token if it loses 5% of its value.

    • Setting a stop-loss percentage helps limit losses without requiring constant monitoring.

  2. Automatic Stop-Loss Execution

    • When the token reaches your specified stop-loss level, the bot will automatically execute a sell order, protecting your investment from further decline.

Example

  • Stop-Loss at 50%

    • If you set a stop-loss percentage of 50%, the bot will sell the token if its value drops by 50%. This approach provides a buffer, allowing the token some room for fluctuation while safeguarding against extreme losses.
