In this step, you’ll need to enter your private key to allow CodeGreen to access your Solana wallet and execute trades on your behalf. Note: Your private key is extremely sensitive information, as it provides direct access to your funds, so it’s essential to handle it securely.
Only use the official CodeGreen software to enter your private key. Never share it with anyone or enter it on any other platform.
Ensure that you are in a secure environment and using a trusted device when entering your private key.
Locate Your Private Key in Phantom Wallet
Open your Phantom Wallet, go to settings, and select the option to export your private key.
Copy the private key securely and avoid saving it in an insecure location, such as a notepad file.
Enter Private Key in CodeGreen
In the CodeGreen interface, when prompted, paste your private key into the designated field.
Double-check to ensure that you entered it correctly before proceeding.
Secure Your Wallet
Once the key is entered, the bot will have the required permissions to trade on your behalf. Make sure to store the private key securely after entering it, and if possible, use a backup wallet for trading purposes.
Example: Use a separate wallet for trading with CodeGreen instead of your primary wallet. Transfer the funds needed for trading (1 SOL or more) to this new wallet, so your main wallet remains protected.
By following these steps, you can ensure that CodeGreen has access to your wallet while keeping your assets as secure as possible. Once you’ve entered your private key, you’re ready to move on to configuring and using the bot’s trading features!
